This is amazing, it gives you a picture of what is going on around us that we cant see....i cry EVERYTIME, so get your tissues out......

This is the song that is playing on my blog right now, it is a perfect song to describe what i have gone through in the past few years of my life.....a Sick Cycle Carousel.

I kept running back to the same pattern of life over and over again, WHY?? cause it is the EASY way. It is SOOO easy to be attracted to and live in the "world" so to speak. I am trying DESPERATELY to not get stuck back on that ride, which seems fun when you look at it from the outside, but when you just head first in and come down from it all you feel is unsatisfied, sick (ironicly i always feel sick after going in circles.)

Anyway it is encouraging for me to hear songs such as these played on the radio.....reminds me of how great it is to walk with God. May not be easy, but the reward is MUCH greater. Here are the lyrics...

If shame had a face I think it would kind of look like mine
If it had a home would it be my eyes
Would you believe me if I said I'm tired of this
Well here we go now one more time

'Cause I tried to climb your steps
I tried to chase you down
I tried to see how low I can get down to the ground
I tried to earn my way
I tried to tame this mind
You better believe that I tried to beat this

So when will this end
It goes on and on
Over and over and over again
Keep spinning around I know that it won't stop
Till I step down from this for good

I never thought I'd end up here
Never thought I'd be standing where I am
I guess I kind of thought that it would be easier than this
I guess I was wrong now one more time

Today my baby turned two.....

Landon Ray turned two today, I just cannot believe it!!!! He is the most amazing child.....ive decided instead of calling it the terrible twos, i will call it the terrific twos!!!! I have been reading this book lately and it talks alot about the bonding process (bonding to others) It talks about how important the bonding process is and how you develop a sense of independance because of the bond that you develop with your loved see when a child decides that he feels loved enough and secure enough thats when he starts exhibiting his or her independance, he can function on his own with out having his mother or father near him or her every step he takes, he begins to absorb his surroundings and explore interesting things.....that usually happens at around the age of two....and this is the period most people call terrible sad to think that way when the child is just begining to become a little person.....

Here are some pictures of my beautiful child on his special day. He is having his bday party this weekend but i wanted him to feel special on this most wonderful occasion, celebrateing his life.

Happy birthday toooo yooooouuuuu.......

Family Game Night

Okay so raise your hand if you remember the game mouse trap?? Holla!!! I totally used to rock that game, so its no suprise santa brought Logan that very game for Christmas this year!!! So tonight we busted it out and had a family game night. Landon even played, although he wasnt too sure why he couldnt turn the crank every time he rolled the die. Landon was the first to get trapped....momma was in the lead the entire night, dada and Logan even got sent back to start twice.....but dada made a comeback and trapped Logan and i both at the same time.....figures :)

We had a BLAST, here are some pics of the boys and their game.
